Setters punishes EDUSPORT

Tshepo Malesa of Pace Setters and Asser Phoso of EDUSPORT battling for the ball in a Castle League match at Soshanguve Giant stadium.

The anticipated Soshanguve derby saw Pace Setters silencing EDUSPORT 4-0 in a Castle League match at Soshanguve Giant stadium on Saturday afternoon.
Soshanguve derby teams played good football, showing true talent by both teams from the first minute of the game.
But it was the Setters that dominated by setting the pace while EDUSPORT tried hard to catch up.
The Setters knew from the start what they were doing as they enjoyed good ball possession while entertaining the crowd with brilliant football.
They created a few scoring chances and            Setters’s Chidi Uzodimo managed to convert it into a goal a few minutes into the first half.
EDUSPORT tried not to look hard done by the Setters as they tried to create some scoring opportunities. However things did not work out, as their captain Samuel Monama received a red card. The Second half started at full pace with the Setters playing brilliant football with full passes that saw Sipho Makobe scoring their second goal after a one-two passes on the edge of the danger area.
EDUSPORT’s defence seemed weak throughout the game but Asser Phoso’s defence skills managed to keep the ball away from Setters.
Setters were dangerous as they managed to pass through the defence and scored their third goal. The score line was 3-0.
In the 70th minute EDUSPORT did not give up as they tried to score but the Setters’s goalkeeper had a brilliant performance as he palmed away many long range shots.
Nkayo Makgape exposed the EDUSPORT’S defence after he scored a fourth goal for Setters.
EDUSPORT will feel hard done by the Setters for not scoring any goal.
